Staples was preparing to launch their website redesign, and wanted to make the transition as easy as possible for their users. They asked for a video that would walk users through all the new features of the site. The challenge was creating a clear design that was able to highlight the site, remain informative and yet still convey the excitement surrounding the new site. I worked with the client to understand the nuances of the site, and then helped to create a script that made logical sense to highlight new features. From there I developed design frames, which used both on screen type and visuals to walk the user through the new site. Finally I worked with the animators to develop the video, finding a pacing that allowed information to be quickly read and understood. In the end, Staples had an exciting video that was featured on their new site.
